Cookie notice
We set no advertising cookies and run no analytics, so there is nothing here to opt out of. This is what the site does store in your browser, and why.

1. What we do not set
It is easier to start with the absences, because they are the things most people reasonably assume are there:
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, and no other measurement product. We cannot see which pages you visited, how long you stayed, or where you came from.
- No advertising or retargeting. No advertising pixels, no conversion tags, and no cookies that could follow you to another site.
- No social tracking. No embedded like buttons or share widgets that report your visit back to a social network.
- No session recording or heatmaps. Nothing records your mouse, your keystrokes, or your screen.
- No third-party scripts on our public pages at all, other than the payment fields on the checkout, which have to come from our payment processor.
2. What we do set
All of it is strictly necessary: without it you could not stay signed in or keep a basket. None of it is used to build a picture of you.
| What | Where | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token | Cookie | Keeps you signed in. Without it you would be signed out on every page. | Until it expires or you sign out |
| better-auth.last_used_login_method | Cookie | Remembers whether you last signed in with a password, Microsoft, or Google, so the right option is offered first. | Until it expires or you sign out |
| An impersonation cookie | Cookie | Set only when a member of our staff is viewing a client portal to help them, so we can return them to their own account. Read-only while it is set. | Thirty minutes |
| clearpath.cart.v1 | Local storage | Your basket, so it survives a page reload. It holds product references and quantities, never prices. | Until you clear it or complete an order |
| clearpath.cart.code.v1 | Local storage | A discount code you have entered, so it survives the trip to the checkout. | Until you clear it or complete an order |
| Stripe's own cookies | Cookie | Set by Stripe on the checkout page for fraud prevention on the payment itself. We do not read them and cannot use them to identify you elsewhere. | Set by Stripe |
Local storage is not a cookie: it stays in your browser and is never sent to us with a request. Your basket only reaches our servers if you are signed in, so that it can follow you between devices.
4. Clearing or blocking them
Every browser lets you see, clear, and block cookies and local storage for a site, usually under privacy or site settings. Signing out clears the sign-in cookies, and emptying your basket clears the basket.
Blocking cookies for this site is fine if you are only reading. You will not be able to sign in or check out, because staying signed in is what the cookie is for.
We do not respond to the Do Not Track browser signal, because there is no tracking here for it to turn off. For the same reason there is no “do not sell my information” link: see our privacy policy, which explains that we do not sell or share personal information at all.
